A fresh start? Unlikely.

I think (good) music has too strong of an influence over me. I can go from feeling normal (as in, alright: not great, not bad) to feeling like I am a worthless piece of trash, to feeling on top of the world, to feeling like I need to use all of the heroin in the world (and yes, I actually felt like this). Maybe it's because I understand music so well, or because it expresses my emotions in a way I'm unable to, or maybe it replaces my weak, singular emotions with strong, public(*) emotions. Or some other asinine excuse, I don't know. But the (weird?) thing is that I really like this. I can (in)directly control my mood with the kind of music I listen to. I've found that the stuff I usually listen to, like classic rock, industrial, country (you know, white guy stuff) tends to make me feel negative feelings (anger, resentment, sadness), while stuff like pop and hip-hop make me feel more positive emotions (happiness, higher self-esteem). But the former tends to always be stronger, because deep down, I'm not happy, and I don't know if I'll be truly happy again.

It sucks not having access to artistic materials (pen[cil] and paper) when you're feeling artistic. I came up with an awesome comic idea! "Major Tom and The Action Man!" It would be a serial comic about Major Tom, an experimental aircraft pilot & heroin addict, and The Action Man, a "super" hero & and friend of Major Tom. I was thinking it would make for an awesome spin-off of "The Venture Bros." There could be cross-overs involving Dr. Jonas Venture and the original Team Venture, as well as flas-backs, and flash forwards, further cementing Major Tom and The Action Man into the Venture Universe. Of course, the comic would most likely come to an end ***SPOILER ALERT BEGINS*** with Major Tom crashing the TVC-15 into the ocean and dying ***SPOILER ALERT ENDS*** but I think it would be an amazing comic series. And if it were part of the Venture Universe, it would allow me to (officially) use the character designs from the show, incorporate characters, locations, plotlines, etc. which would not only make the process easier, but also allow the comic to be released to a larger group of people from the get-go. The comic itself would focus on Major Tom and The Action Man, of course, and thier impacts on the world around them. I'm on the fence about whether it should be comedic, like "The Venture Bros.", or very serious. I'm sure a balance could be made, probably leaning more towards the serious. I am in love with this idea because I love the symbollism of Major Tom and The Action Man, both in David Bowie's work, and on "The Venture Bros." I would love to see an expansion of their characters, storylines, etc. It's a simply facsinating and wonderful concept to me, and I think it would be a welcome addition to the comicbook market, and to the Venture Universe. Mind you, this is all half-insane jargon from an 18-year-old, self-diagnosing and self-loathing Canadian. If it were to become a part of the Venture Universe, it would be a thousand times better than if it were a seperate entity, in my opinion at least. If it does not end up a part of the Venture Universe, which is not unlikely according to what I've heard, it would be a lot harder to develope a concrete story and such, although it would allow me to actually create my own interpritations of the characters and their universe, which I wouldn't mind too much. If anyone from The Cartoon Network or anyone involved with "The Venture Bros." is reading this (which they aren't, I know), please consider it and pass it along. Or don't, fine by me.

I really miss facebook. I think I'm going through withdrawl, but I'm going to keep going strong without it. Life is hard. Goodnight!
